HMCCentral.com is the online home for HMC Partner hospital staff to compare costs to other hospitals, create ideas for quality and cost performance improvement, and provide a clear pathway for implementation. The latest upgrade includes a revolutionary approach to measure hospital value through comparisons of cost and quality including notification of quality problems before they become public. The new upgrade also unveils an industry-first regionally adjusted wage rate comparison, an ideal application for evaluating comparative rates of pay.

- HMC Cost/Quality MatrixTM
HMC compares hospital competitiveness based on the value of care delivered, bringing cost benchmarks and quality benchmarks together. The HMC Cost/Quality MatrixTM plots the relationship between a hospital’s quality ranking and its cost per unit of service ranking.
- HMC Quality DashboardTM
The HMC Quality DashboardTM automates the tracking of quality measures by facility. AHRQ standardized quality measures are fully automated. Beyond these measures, hospitals may submit data from diverse data systems. Hospital staff may also submit explanations of the data for other hospital staff to view.
