The HMC Clinical Analyzer™ enhances the Clinical Service Benchmark™ by allowing you to look at DRG and service line data with greater detail and on a case-by-case basis. It offers:
Single version of truth. The Clinical Analyzer is integrated with the Clinical Service Benchmark, permitting a single-click drilldown capability. This allows administrators to quickly look at case level detail, including patient demographic information, procedure, diagnostic, AHRQ quality codes, revenue, margin, cost and LOS detail, comparison costs and ALOS, as well as comparative excess.
Data integration. The tool draws from a wide variety of data sources. It can also present information around expenses caused by off-quality conditions, unexplained clinical variation calculations, and by targets. The Analyzer also enables management to see into such crucial areas as physician performance drivers, service-line strengths and issues. It also drills down into DRG and APRDRGs performance and utilization issues and drivers.
