Inova takes national stroke treatment honor
The American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Stroke Association (ASA) have given Inova Fairfax Hospital the Gold Plus Award in the category of outstanding specialized stroke treatment. Inova made the announcement earlier this month. To win the award, hospitals must have achieved a goal of treating stroke patients with 85 percent or higher compliance to core standard levels of care for 24 consecutive months.
